Our Story
RICAFRANCA Architecture & Interior Design, formerly known as Ricafranca Architects, was founded by the late Ar. Reynaldo Ricafranca and Ar. Enald Ricafranca in 2005. It is a design collaboration between different generations of Ricafrancas. To this day, the design collaboration continues, now spanning three generations.
Ricafranca Arch+ID brings together two complementary entities: Ricafranca Architectural Consultancy for architectural and design services, and Ricafranca Construction, a PCAB-licensed contractor, for construction and project implementation.
Since its founding in 2005, the firm has worked on a diverse range of residential, commercial, and interior projects both in the Philippines and overseas. Exposure to different design approaches, construction techniques, and industry standards continues to inform our work, allowing us to draw from both local expertise and global perspectives while remaining responsive to the unique needs of each project.
Our Philosophy
We believe every project should reflect the people who use it. Good design begins with understanding how a space will be lived in, worked in, and experienced, allowing design decisions to emerge from function, context, and purpose.
Rather than imposing a signature style, we approach each project on its own terms, responding to each clients’ needs, aspirations, and the unique conditions of the site. Whether residential or commercial, our aim is to create spaces that are thoughtful in design, practical in execution, and enduring in value.
Our People
Co-Founder
Obtained his degree in Architecture at University of Santo Tomas in 1969 and became a registered Architect in 1973.
He worked with prestigious architectural design firms including Leandro V. Locsin Partners and Wong Tung & Partners, then co-founded Villarosa-Ricafranca & Partners before establishing Ricafranca Architects with his son in 2005.
Passed away in November 2019 at age 72.
Co-Founder, Principal Architect
A registered Architect and Master Plumber, he obtained his degree in Architecture at National University in 2002.
He has extensive experience with various mega projects, having worked in major construction companies in the Philippines, United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
He also worked in architectural and interior design firms in Saudi Arabia as principal architect, specializing in high-end architectural and interior design finishes.
Finance Officer, Interior Designer
A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, she obtained her degree in Interior Design at Philippine Women’s University in 2021.
Having worked in a prestigious interior design company prior to joining the family design firm, she has considerable experience in handling all-around tasks and has a keen eye for design and details.
